Picking up my writing again, tonight

It’s been a while since my last post. I’ll be picking up my writing on The Encounter Down Under again, tonight. Of course, I’ll start with the 1994 Monaco Grand Prix.

Some 180 downloads

Since my last post, I recorded another 90 visits to the part I download page. That adds up to a total of some 180 downloads. Which is great! Tanks for the effort, all. And feel free to comment anywhere on the site.

Minor fixes to part I coming

Regular poster Ferrim was kind enough to comment on part I, spotting a few typos and some factual errors. I had waited for anyone else to point out any mistakes, but haven’t gotten any more. So I’ll make some changes to part I of my alternate 1994 Formula One season story, and post it as soon as I’m done.

Two-week vacation

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be on vacation for two weeks, including a visit to the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Catalunya. This means that I might not be able to post about the goings-on regarding The Encounter Down Under. However, I will take my iBook with me, so that I can at least write the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix chapter. When I have the opportunity, I’ll try to update you on my progress.

Little progress during Easter: more to come

Progress on The Encounter Down Under — my Senna versus Schumacher what-if story — has been a little slow during the Easter weekend. I did finish Friday’s practice and qualifying, and I expect to finish Saturday’s sessions as well as the race, next Thursday Saturday.

Not much work these past few days; more coming this weekend

As you might have guessed, there has been little activity this week. I haven’t been feeling very well, yesterday and today, and hence haven’t worked on my Senna versus Schumacher story the past few days.

I have, however, planned a couple of hours’ work for next Saturday, and I would like to finish the third chapter, on the 1994 Brazilian Grand Prix.

In the mean time I did plough through some motor racing and alternate history forums. It seems that there aren’t a lot of stories similar my alternate version of the 1994 Formula One season. I’m planning to post on these forums and stir up some attention for the site and the book.
