Back into the flow

Yesterday I spent just over an hour on The Encounter Down Under, and I must say I quickly got back into the flow. The preview part of the Monaco Grand Prix chapter is almost finished. Later this week I’ll work on Thursday’s and Saturday’s practice and qualifying, in which I plan to include one or more interviews by Ayrton Senna, too. After that, of course, the race…

Back on track with Monaco GP

Today I re-started my writing again with the first paragraphs for the Monaco Grand Prix. It’s my first writing since my wife gave birth to a baby boy: Nathan.

I started work by interpreting the goings-on since the San Marino race, with the FIA’s press statements, the Italian magistrates’ actions regarding the Imola circuit’s managing director et cetera.

The result for my alternate 1994 Monte Carlo race is already set, of course, but my task, now, is to write a good story for the race leading to this result. I’ll keep you posted on my progress.

Picking up my writing again, tonight

It’s been a while since my last post. I’ll be picking up my writing on The Encounter Down Under again, tonight. Of course, I’ll start with the 1994 Monaco Grand Prix.

Some 180 downloads

Since my last post, I recorded another 90 visits to the part I download page. That adds up to a total of some 180 downloads. Which is great! Tanks for the effort, all. And feel free to comment anywhere on the site.

Minor fixes to part I coming

Regular poster Ferrim was kind enough to comment on part I, spotting a few typos and some factual errors. I had waited for anyone else to point out any mistakes, but haven’t gotten any more. So I’ll make some changes to part I of my alternate 1994 Formula One season story, and post it as soon as I’m done.
