Since I’ve finished research on the Spanish Grand Prix — all I have to do is re-watch the video a couple of times — I expect to start writing the next chapter of part II, tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted on my progress.

Hi Christiaan, I’m still eager to hear about the progress of your project. One question that occured to me recently was what kind of role you are going to assign to Damon Hill in your book. He had some great moments and showed real strength in 1994 (for example, won his home Grand Prix and a very difficult Japanese Grand Prix in the rain!), and was the challenger of Michael Schumacher for the title, but, as he himself admitted, he wouldn’t have come that close to being champion had Senna lived. I’m sure he would have had his moments nevertheless. But of course, fiction is fiction, and you are not obliged to comply with what would have been likely or not.
All in all, I’m still looking forward to reading your alternate history, with special regard to Damon Hill’s role in it. Wishing you the best.
So how many races are included in part 2?
There are 4 races in part II: the Monaco Grand Prix, which I’ve already finished, the Spanish GP, which I’m working on a the moment, and the Canadian and French Grands Prix.
